Magazine pictures are HORRIBLE.
This really shouldn't come as a surprise for like, 99.9% of you women out there, but practically everything is air-brushed these days. Well, I was dicking around on the internet (there the cursing is again!) and I came across someone who posted these pictures he'd air-brushed for a magazine. And no WONDER women have such body issues these days.
Normal, right? Huh. Go here: http://homepage.mac.com/gapodaca/digital/bikini/bikini1.html to look at the touch-up. And then race your little mouse back over the pic to see the real one.
The original picture and the touched up ones are crazy different, so much so that in a few of the body-shots (the last one, specifically) they literally took a half an inch off of her thighs. That doesn't sound like much, but when you figure that a half an inch off a sillohuette is taking almost a whole pants size off a model that's probably already wearing size 0 (or less), it's making a bad situation worse.
